I feel pretty good for being sick. I have been eating well, going to the gym, and drinking lots of emergenC so hopefully my horrible runny nose will go away soon.

I got this trench coat over the weekend at Target from the kids section for only 20 bucks! I've been wanting a pea coat and a trench coat for a long time and I finally have both of them. ah satisfaction.

Today it was actually cold enough to wear a coat and my boots that I got in Colorado. It actually even rained a little at one point. Of course it was the moment I stepped outside to go to class..

Anyways, I got some paint stuff for Christmas and I've been itching to get going on it but I was scared because I've never painted anything in my life. On Tuesday the mood struck me and I busted my stuff out and painted even though I didn't know what I was going to paint. I'm actually pretty happy with the results.

In other news, it rained today so the house was cold. Pog resorted to huddling over the heater. I finally got to enjoy my flour-less chocolate cake that'd I've been looking forward to all day.

four day weekend

Since I didn't have class on Friday and we had Monday off for MLK, I ended up having a four day weekend. Pretty sweet. Leila and I got the chance to cross off quite a few things from our list of stuff that we want to do in LA and in the area. On Friday we went to Manhattan Beach with Trixie, Liz, Rachell and Ivan and it was so gorgeous. I am used to the northern California beaches which are lovely but sooooo cold.


On Sunday Leila, Adan and I decided to venture in to downtown LA by way of the metro since Leila and I had never used it and Adan was an expert. We took soo many different trains and buses but it was pretty easy since we had someone who knew what they were doing. We ended up getting lunch at the farmer's market and I had a deliiiicious falafel. Then we made our way in to Beverly Hills for Sprinkles. I felt like such a sucker for standing in line for a cupcake but the carrot cake and red velvet cupcakes I got were soooo worth it.


Also, since I got texting for Christmas I have been wayyyy overusing it. I really need to cut it out..

today we all went to manhattan beach and it was gorgeous. we took some pictures but you will have to wait because ms leila-grace has them and she is MIA at the moment. cursive is playing a show in west hollywood on march 13th and I would love to go so we will see. perhaps it will be a reunion of the sisters?

Little Sister Takes First Step

My outfit today was cuter than yesterday's (shown), but as soon as I got home I took it off&got in my pjs, so no pictures of it.  I should find my camera and someone to take my picture besides photobooth.  A new pose would be nice too.  Mental Note: Practice poses in mirror.

p.s. my favorite part is listing the clothing items and where I got them. twee!

p.s.s. this sister still goes to high school (early) so weekend outfits will be more exciting than weekday ones that I spend roughly twenty seconds on.
